Join us for a family-friendly evening of bird watching at Lake Manawa on Tuesday, July 28, from 5:30–7:30 PM! Explore one of western Iowa’s premier birding destinations as we look and listen for herons, egrets, swallows, songbirds, and other wildlife. Whether you’re an experienced birder or just getting started, this relaxed walk is a great opportunity to learn bird identification, practice using binoculars, and enjoy the outdoors with family and friends. All ages and experience levels are welcome.
This field trip is free to attend and open to any young birders and their parents/guardians. Advance registration is required. Iowa Young Birders welcomes everyone to the outdoors regardless of age, race, ethnicity, gender, orientation, religion, creed, national origin, or disability status. Our events can accommodate wheelchairs, vision and hearing impairments, and other health conditions. For questions, or to request accommodations for an upcoming event, please send us a message or email.
