Join us as we bird along the Iowa River Trail! We will begin near the Thornberry Dog Park looking for early migrants such as Bleu-gray Gnatcatcher and Yellow-rumped Warblers. We'll make our way towards the gazebo near the power company dam where we can find migrating waterfowl. We may even spot the localized exotic Eurasian Tree Sparrows. This trail provides an easy to access location right on the south side of Coralville.
This field trip is free to attend and open to any young birders and their parents/guardians. Advance registration is required. Iowa Young Birders welcomes everyone to the outdoors regardless of age, race, ethnicity, gender, orientation, religion, creed, national origin, or disability status. Our events can accommodate wheelchairs, vision and hearing impairments, and other health conditions.
