Wetlands are one nature's most busy habitat types in Iowa in the spring! Plants are emerging, frogs are calling, and birds are arriving from their migratory journeys north. Join us and Winneshiek County Conservation Board for a morning exploring one of the premier wetlands in northeastern Iowa - Cardinal Marsh! We will hope to see migrating waterfowl and other waterbirds, and perhaps some early migrant songbirds. Hopefully we'll see some other critters too!
Iowa Young Birders welcomes everyone to the outdoors regardless of age, race, ethnicity, gender, orientation, religion, creed, national origin, or disability status. Our events can accommodate wheelchairs, vision and hearing impairments, and other health conditions. For questions, or to request accommodations for an upcoming event, please send us a message or email. As an IAYB event, this field trip is open to young birders and their parents/guardians/caretakers.
