A hotspot during migration, Cedar Lake hosts a variety of waterbirds each fall including gulls and waterfowl. Join us for a visit to this exciting birding location in downtown Cedar Rapids during the peak of the fall waterbird migration in Iowa! We will spend the morning hiking around the lake, taking advantage of the unique opportunity to see waterbirds up close, and will learn about and observe identifying characteristics for ducks, gulls, and other waterbirds. We hope you and your family can join us! This trip is free but advanced registration is required.
